Headlines capitalised like a subeditor

Proper title case is not simply capitalising every word: the convention used by newspapers and style guides capitalises the important words but leaves short joining words (a, the, of, and, to and so on) lowercase, unless they are the first or last word. This tool applies exactly that rule, so "the lord of the rings" becomes "The Lord of the Rings" rather than the clumsy "The Lord Of The Rings".

Consistent capitalisation makes titles, headings and blog posts look professionally finished. If you would rather capitalise every single word, or need other cases, use the case converter.
