Order a list the way you need it

Paste a list with one item per line and sort it alphabetically A to Z or Z to A, by line length, simply reverse the current order, or shuffle it into a random order. Sorting uses locale-aware comparison, so accented characters and different cases order sensibly rather than by raw code point.

This is the quick way to alphabetise a list of names, tidy a bibliography, or randomise draw order. To strip out repeated entries after sorting, use remove duplicate lines.
